A Better Place
As soon as Shullie arrived at The Sty, she wanted to get to work and see if she could help with the Michael Palin problem. When The Professor rang and invited us Downtown, she said it would be an ideal opportunity to have the house to herself and see if she could make contact with the craggy faced ghost.
Shullie very quickly found the centre of his spooky activity- Michael's urn which I'd kept as a sign of my love and respect. She summoned him for a little chat.
At first, he resisted...
... but Shullie soon won him over. Michael told her that he had been happy just hanging around, haunting the house but the place had recently become over crowded and he just wasn't getting any rest and if you can't rest when you're dead, when can you? He explained it had made him rather grouchy and he'd taken to scaring the household to vent his feelings.Shullie called me home immediately and told me what Michael had said. He wanted to be moved somewhere less crowded but where he could still join in the fun when he felt like it. I knew the perfect place.
I said my good byes to Michael and promised I would visit his grave.
Although he didn't seem too confident about that, I assured him that where he was going, there was no doubt I'd be visiting... regularly.
Shullie did her witchy medium thingy and with a sad little wave, Michael went to a much better place. I just know he's going to be happy there.

Drop Outs
After meeting at The Professor's party, the Campus Community folk thought it wasn't worth pursuing a conventional education and opted to learn through life and living together. A proper community. They dropped out of college and started looking around for somewhere to set up together.
Loops went ahead of the others to look at a house they all thought looked promising. Shullie and Kat decided they could leave it up to the others and came to stay with me and try to sort out what was making Michael so angry.
Oh... and Rachel... well we're not entirely sure what's happened to her. The last time we heard, she was living it up in the company of some Blog celebrities. Brad Pitt was mentioned... time will tell.
Loops was confident everyone would love this mock beach hut and he was right... Amber couldn't wait to start adding her personal touch...

... they should never have let her cook though. Luckily, it was only a small fire.

Eventually they sat down to eat a very happy meal together.

It's a very relaxing place. Luisa took time to relax... all over the place.

Merry Xmas from The Blogs

And there's more... you can see The Blogs's Xmas Party here. It's a big file- about 15 MB but worth the wait.
Or you can download a smaller file (8MB) here... but obviously lower quality.
I hope you enjoy it.

Guilty Feelings
Kat wonders if she should make more of an effort to see the good side of Loops. Since their many scraps at The Professor's party, she's felt a little resentful of him, not something she feels comfortable with.
Last night, she dreamt that she went with her CC pals to look at buying a house. She argued with Loops about what colour they should paint the walls... it got rather heated and she wished him gone.
Immediately, he collapsed on the floor, stone cold dead. Kat was horrified and pleaded with the reaper to return him.
He said she could have him back if she could guess which hand he was holding Loops' life in.
She guessed wrongly...
... and all that was left was a sad little urn.
Hmmm... perhaps it's time to make up.

Disturbed
Bill seems to have ruffled a few psychic feathers around The Sty.It's ages since we saw Michael haunting the place. Bill has taken it all in his stride...
... but I felt a bit worried. Michael seems quite angry.Francesco suggested I ask Shullie over. She's sure to be able to help. So I gave her a call.
She's agreed to come over for the Xmas holidays and have a break from doing up the new house she's sharing with her new found friends.
Back at the Sty
After the madness of the party, life back at The Sty seemed a bit dull so I decided I'd get togged up and take Clive (Miss Fluffy's daughter) and Ian (Creepy Lesbo's son with Emma) downtown and see if we could have some fun.
At the art gallery, I noticed a dark haired young man following me around the exhibits. I smiled politely... I thought he might be one of the exhibits... well you can never be sure these days... and he did look strangely familiar.
Afterwards, we moved on to the restaurant next door... the kids thought it was very cool to be in such a grown up place.
I couldn't resist a spin in the psychoball... and when I recovered my senses enough to see again, I was looking into the eyes of the young man from the art gallery.
He told me he was lost. He had no memory of where he had come from or who he was except for a vague feeling that his name might be Bill or something like that.
He told me he'd felt drawn to me. Now, I'm used to this kind of wierdness, so I thought I'd try and help. Unfortunately, even a bout in the psychoball didn't jog his memory...
...so I decided to take him home. I'm a sucker for a lame duck.
Bill has fitted right in.

The Party
Everyone was looking forward to The Professor's party... Richard particularly was looking forward to a long and lucrative session. He wondered how many hands he could get in before Emma arrived... students were easy prey but Emma, she was a very different kettle of fish.
I have to admit, the night is all a bit of a blur which probably means it was wildly successful. The party began quite sedately. Rachel and Loops were the first to arrive but it wasn't long before we had a full house.
The Professor, Neil, Loops and Burgi got everyone in the mood for dancing.
It was wonderful to see the kids enjoying themselves. It looks like Love is continuing his pursuit of Luisa...
I was thrilled when The Witch arrived... I didn't think she would come...
and when Neil asked her if she would put on a magic show, I bet she wished she hadn't. Oh the embarressment!
The CC lot were so happy to have been brought together like this. They felt as if they had known each other for years... not just a few short weeks.
Shullie realised why her vision had led her here... it was like coming home.
Rachel let her hair down and danced well into the early hours.

She also helped Amber find what she was looking for. Colin was very sympathetic and agreed to help Amber make contact with alien agencies. Shullie listened intently.
Actually, Colin had no idea how to go about doing such a thing- honestly, people think that because you're green, you've got some kind of direct line to the stars! He didn't really mind though and if truth be told, I believe his motives weren't entirely selfless.
Kat had a fabulous time. Everyone fell in love with her except for some peculiar reason, Loops. They fought like cat and dog all night.
Maybe, the whisky took Loops the wrong way... I'm not sure but he was the first to pass out.
Richard was right about the poker. He made a killing until poker faced Emma turned up. Somehow, he managed to keep smiling.
The Professor had one too many swigs of port and made some inappropriate advances towards just about everyone.

No one took advantage of his being the worse for wear although someone was sorely tempted... ahem.
Oh, and the boys didn't seem to mind!
Kat was extremely put out...
although I did spy her and the Professor having a quiet moment well away from the rest of the crowd not long after this episode. Hmmm...
Luisa spent most of the night blowing... erm... bubbles.

Creepy discovered her musical talent...
... and Amber was a wow on the drums!
How this happened, I'm not entirely sure. All that tequila must have made me forget about the nappy changing... and I've always had a soft spot for Richard ;) (I just couldn't resist).
Looks like The Professor didn't get quite so lucky!
